The Fuerteventura airport (El Motorral Airport) is 5 km to the south of Puerto del Rosario, a capital city, and it’s one of the biggest airports in the Canary Islands, serving 5 mln passengers a year. The distance between the airport and Costa Calma is 62 km, around 50 minutes’ drive.
In the airport shops you can find food, cosmetics, drugs, clothes, newspapers and souvenirs. There are also duty free shops where you can buy perfumes, cosmetics, drinks, food, accessories, electrical goods and leather goods.

Next to the airport, within 2 minutes walking distance, there is a big car park, where you can find a few car rental companies (Top Car AutoReisen, Avis, Cicar, Hertz, Payless, AutoReisen, Europcar, Goldcar), three bus lines (no. 3 Puerto del Rosario-Caleta de Fuste-Las Salinas, no. 10 Puerto del Rosario-Morro Jable, no. 16 Puerto del Rosario-Gran Taraja) and taxis.
