There are plenty of restaurants in Costa Calma which serve mostly Spanish, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, although you can also find French or Chinese restaurants. The resort is famous for its night life.

The most recommended restaurants are: L’Aperipizza (amazing pizza), Terraza del Gato (Mediterranean cuisine, fish, seafood), Mirador de Sotavento (Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine, a beautiful view of the sunset from a hill), El Camino Taberna (Spanish and European cuisine, amazing tapas, steaks and fish dishes), B Side Café Fuerteventura (Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, excellent shrimps), Tasca Dos Jotas (Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine, delicious fish), Tony’s Non Solo Cafe (Italian bar, a great place for an evening drink), El bar de Marko (speciality – tapas), Ristorante Pizzeria L’ Italiano (tasty pizza and spaghetti), Kape (German café). The local cuisine is famous for: papas arrugadas (wrinkled potatoes served with the national mojo souse), sancocho (soup made of a variety of meats and vegetables), gofio (flour made from roasted barley or corn) and padrón peppers.

Costa Calma is one of the most entertaining towns in Fuerteventura. There are clubs with different kinds of music. Parties are organized every day during the season (from April to September) and only on Thursdays during the rest of the year. One of the most famous clubs is El Divino (only Thursdays), then you can continue the party in Marias, an underground complex of clubs and discos. Cuban dance lovers should visit the Synergy salsa club, open on Wednesdays.

Each year in July, during the Windsurfing and Kitesurfing World Cup, parties with famous DJs and bands are organized in a huge tent on the beach.
